What a Temecula Tasting Actually Costs
For the fifteen small places on this guide, a standard tasting is still mostly $20–$35 for 4–6 pours, waived or reduced if you buy a bottle. That is the 2026 floor, not a bargain from 2018.
What changes the bill:
Reservations / seated tastings. Lorenzi Estate is reservation-led. Briar Rose private tastings Monday–Wednesday start at $300. Gershon Bachus is seated even when you don’t book.
Groups. Jordan Parker wants a deposit at 12+. Palumbo Family wants a heads-up for transportation companies. Marshall Stuart asks groups of 9+ to reserve.
Food. Frangipani has a grill. Masia de la Vinya has Saturday trucks. Longshadow Ranch has Great Scot BBQ on bonfire nights. Corbeaux is a full restaurant. A tasting fee next to a real meal changes the stop more than the pour does.
Waivers. Clubs and bottle purchases still knock the tasting fee off at most of these rooms. Ask before they pour, not after.
A rough Saturday for two
Two small estate stops, one Old Town glass, one real meal — tasting fees alone land in the ballpark of the per-stop numbers above, before food, bottles, or a tip. We’re not giving a total we haven’t actually priced out stop by stop; the honest version is that the fees add up faster than “$20 tasting” makes it sound.
We don’t have a live price on every tasting fee because they move. If a room lists one on its site, we put it on that winery’s page with the date we saw it.
