Longshadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery

Longshadow Ranch is a family-friendly Temecula estate winery known for ranch animals, estate reds, weddings and its long-running Saturday Night Bonfire.

A rustic Old West ranch with estate wines, rescue horses and farm animals, a family-friendly atmosphere, wedding facilities and a weekly bonfire tradition extending more than two decades.

Longshadow Ranch Vineyard & Winery combines estate-grown Temecula wines with a rustic Old West ranch experience. Founded by the Brodersen family in 1999, the property produces Mediterranean and Bordeaux red varieties, cares for horses and other ranch animals, and hosts weddings and private events. Its signature Saturday Night Bonfire pairs live music with barbecue and has operated for more than two decades. The venue welcomes families and walk-ins, while buses and large groups must reserve in advance. Visitors should follow the winery’s official no-pets rule despite a conflicting tourism-association listing.

Plan your visit

Hours
Mon–Fri 12–5pm; Sat 12–8:30pm; Sun 12–5pm.
Reservations
Reservations are not required for ordinary visits or Saturday Bonfire events. Optional table reservations should be made at least 24 hours ahead. Shuttles, buses and large groups must arrange a reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
Walk-ins
Walk-ins are accepted during public hours and at the Bonfire event, subject to capacity.
Dogs
Official policy: no pets; trained service animals only. This conflicts with the current TVWA profile, which labels the winery dog-friendly. Use the official rule unless the winery confirms a change.
Kids & family
Family-friendly. The ranch setting, animals, play area and kids’ food options are designed to welcome families; children must remain supervised.
Food on-site
Great Scot BBQ and rotating food vendors operate on weekends and special events. Published offerings include tri-tip, burgers, chicken, vegetarian portobello, charcuterie and a kids’ menu; vendor availability can vary.
Outside food
Official pages conflict. One FAQ allows outside food Monday–Friday when no food truck is present; newer copy emphasizes weekday picnic windows and prohibits outside food during special events. Confirm the exact day before bringing food.
Music & events
Saturday Night Bonfire has run for more than 20 years, weather permitting, with live music and barbecue. Sunday live music, Sangria Sundays and seasonal theatrical/holiday events are also promoted.
Accessibility
Google Maps indicates a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and the official policy welcomes trained service animals. No detailed official accessibility guide for the ranch terrain, tasting spaces or restrooms was located.

Hours vary by source: An older official FAQ showed Sunday opening at 11am. Preferred here: the current official homepage/contact schedule showing noon.
