Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026.
This policy explains what Temecula Pour collects and why when you browse the guide, create an account, save wineries, or publish a review.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, public display name, age confirmation, and records of the policy versions and dates you accepted. Supabase handles authentication credentials; Temecula Pour does not receive your plain-text password.
- Community content: ratings, review text, visit date, whether you would return, review attestations, and publication timestamps. Your display name and published reviews are public.
- Saved activity: wineries you save, mark visited, or favorite. These lists are private to your account.
- Technical and analytics data: hosting, security, authentication, and Cloudflare Web Analytics systems may process IP address, browser/device details, page and referrer information, request times, and session cookies where required for authentication.
- Messages: information you include when you email us.
How we use information
We use it to create and secure accounts, remember saved wineries, publish and moderate authentic reviews, prevent abuse, maintain the site, respond to requests, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers and embeds
We use Supabase for accounts and database services, Google and Apple as optional account identity providers, Resend for operational email delivery, and Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and aggregate web analytics. Winery pages embed Google Maps; typography may load from Google Fonts; and the map page uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Those providers may receive technical request data under their own policies. Links to winery sites and social accounts take you to third parties we do not control.
Cookies and sessions
Authentication uses necessary session storage or cookies so you can stay signed in and use account features. Embedded third-party services may set or read their own cookies. Temecula Pour does not currently use advertising cookies.
Retention and account choices
We retain account data while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your account information and reviews by emailing liam@temeculapour.com. Some limited records may be retained when required by law or needed to prevent abuse.
California privacy choices
California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and may ask about categories of information collected, sources, purposes, and recipients. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email us using the address below; we may need to verify the request before acting.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Children
Temecula Pour is a general-audience wine-country guide, not directed to children. Accounts are limited to people age 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to liam@temeculapour.com.
