Review Guidelines
Effective September 24, 2026.
Useful reviews help someone decide whether a winery fits their day. They are specific, first-hand, and independent.
Write from your own visit
Only review a winery you personally visited. Share what happened to you, not rumors or someone else's account. Add the visit date when you can, and distinguish facts from opinions.
Be independent
Owners, employees, contractors, and immediate family members may not review their own winery. Reviews exchanged for cash, discounts, complimentary items, contest entries, or other rewards are not allowed. If you have another material connection that could affect credibility, do not post through the community review feature; email us so it can be handled transparently.
Keep it useful and respectful
Describe the wine, hospitality, atmosphere, value, policies, or practical details. Criticism is welcome; harassment, threats, discriminatory language, personal attacks, speculation about motives, and irrelevant disputes are not. Do not publish private personal information.
Be accurate
Do not exaggerate or make claims you know are false. If your review concerns a charge, reservation, or policy, keep any receipt or confirmation in case clarification is needed. Update your review if the winery resolves the issue or you learn that a factual detail was wrong.
Moderation and corrections
We may hide or remove reviews that violate these guidelines, appear manipulated, concern the wrong property, or cannot reasonably be verified after a challenge. A negative opinion is not removed merely because a business dislikes it. To flag a review or request a correction, email liam@temeculapour.com with the winery, review, and specific concern.
These guidelines are part of the Terms of Use. The Privacy Policy explains which review and account information is public or private.
