Big Nose Winery grew from Roger and Janice Mattar’s garage-winemaking project into a family tasting room at historic Hotel Temecula. Rather than presenting itself as an estate vineyard, the winery sources grapes from across California, allowing a varied list of reds, whites, rosé and library wines. Walk-ins are welcome, and three club formats accommodate casual drinkers through frequent visitors. Hotel lodging is adjacent/on site but should be treated as a separate business relationship.
